We are local, women, and veteran owned and operated. Our doctors of audiology have been helping Nebraskans with hearing loss since 2003.
Our evaluation goes beyond simple pure-tone sensitivity, and may include screenings of balance, vision, dexterity, cognition, and auditory processing. It allows us to consider the whole person (and how communication difficulties are impacting their life) and create a comprehensive treatment plan.
When hearing aids are the recommended course of treatment, we offer the latest technology solutions from Oticon, Resound, Signia, SoundGear, Starkey, Unitron, and Widex. We service and program all major brands, including Phonak and Costco-brand aids.
We are independent of big box stores and manufactures which allows us to offer more options to our patients than corporate entities. Low or no-interest payment plans are available, as well as hearing aid rental/leasing options!
About 13% of people in the United States aged 12 years or older have hearing loss in both ears, based on standard hearing examinations.
Your friends and family typically notice your hearing loss long before you realize it’s a problem.
Dr. Kopetzky was so compassionate and thorough! She made me feel comfortable right away and explained my options so I understood exactly what they were. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly as well. Thanks ladies!!- Cynthia L
Dr. Kopetzky is kind, compassionate and takes her time with each patient. I highly recommend. Also she is extremely knowledgeable!- Bill R
Dr Kopetzky is very caring and professional. She makes suggestions about your care but does not pressure you into anything. Fortunately, I took her suggestions and I'm very happy with my hearing aids. Her follow-up care is top notch. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hearing needs.- Karen S
Went in for a routine hearing evaluation and to get custom fit ear plugs. Amazing reception and service. Dr. Noel Griffith is awesome. She's friendly, thorough, and explains everything she's doing in terms I understand. Thanks!- Mark S
The staff at Active Hearing Health is so nice, and they make you feel right at home. I always get very personal attention and treatment. Nikki, the audiologist, really knows what she is doing and if there is a problem, she will stay on it until she gets it resolved. I was having a problem with my first set of devices, and after trying to address that she sent them back to the manufacturer and got me a new set. I have not had a problem since then. They are very good people, and I would highly recommend them to everyone!- Jo R
A place I can trust and easily recommend without worry!
My husband went to Active Hearing Health first and we both liked the way Dr. Kopetzky treated him. She is very people-oriented and knows what she is doing. She is friendly and really listened to my husband's needs and concerns. They offer a free hearing evaluation, so I went there for that. I felt like I came away with good information about my personal case. I also have some hearing loss like my husband and could be a candidate for hearing aids, but Dr. Kopetzky told me I could wait. I liked that it wasn't just a hard sell for products. We both felt like she was someone we could trust. She is a very genuine person, informative with clear explanations in regular terms. I'm not an audiologist and wouldn't understand technical jargon, but Dr. Kopetzky shared our test results with us with easy explanations. I highly recommend Active Hearing Health!- Kathleen H
