Dr. Nikki is a native Nebraskan who has been providing exceptional hearing healthcare to Nebraskans since 2003.
She specializes in the diagnosis and effective treatment of all types of hearing disorders and regularly works with patients of all ages. Her diagnostic skills were honed over her 15 years as the Director of Audiology at one of the largest ENT medical practices in the state. Dr. Nikki states this experience was invaluable for making her the practitioner and diagnostician she is today. Her passion is learning about the individual hearing challenges of each patient and then matching each patient with the best hearing technology to meet their needs and budget.
Dr. Nikki became interested in audiology from a young age after accompanying her dad, who has bilateral significant hearing loss, to audiology appointments. As a result, she grew up understanding the positive impact successful treatment of hearing loss can have on a person’s career, family, and social interactions.
Dr. Nikki received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and she received her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia. She has been actively involved in many professional organizations. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), and a member of the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA), where she is a past board member and committee chair. She has also been a past educational speaker at the NSLHA state convention and has served as a preceptor for graduate students in the audiology program at the University of Nebraska since 2009.
Dr. Nikki lives in the Gretna area with her husband, three kids, two dogs, two bunnies, and one cat. She loves watching her kids’ sporting events and occasionally helps coach volleyball. She loves all outdoor activities but spending time at the lake or river with her family are among her favorite activities.
